All of that work you have been doing to learn .Net.....versions 1.0, 1.1 and
now 2.0......well, get ready to toss it out and learn something entirely new
for web UIs......

You never catch up....Microsoft is creating a moving target out of the
development platforms.

ASP.Net is trying to mature......then here comes Avalon.

What's next?

Should you wait?

Jim, this was announced over a year ago.

Avalon is UI based on XML.

That idea has been around for years now.

One example is Glade..which you can work with in Linux or Windows by
downloading the gtksharp toolkit and mono.

It does not mean that any backend, database, or server programming will
not use c#.

Face it, WinForms is a crappy technology that went out the window with VB5.

hey jimmy, here's a newsflash - computer technology changes a lot..

isn't it exhausting to sit around all day and do nothing but complain
and whine?
