This installation package is not supported by this processor type

I hade ms antispyware installed on this computer, but it is obsolete since
July. I loaded the ms Windows Defender Beta 2 package this evening to my hard
drive. I uninstalled the old spyware. I double clicked the
"WindowsDefenderX64.msi" icon and get the fatal warning "This installation
package is not supported by this processor type". This is a Windows XP
computer. What is wrong wiyth your sownload and install programs?

See this thread, you've probably downloaded the version for 64 bit systems
and your system is 32 bit:
