I'll bet you can't guess what this review was describing! I spotted it in Amazon.uk. It was written in Spanish, but I clicked on the option to translate it into English, and this was the result!
"The stick when mounted is fragile, not as if it were a stick, but it looks as if you noticed that it was going to break. Mine was at least badly finished, and I broke a thin sweater of yarn while sweeping, with a plastic splinter... plus it was easy to cut with it ."
