Dear All,

I am an access newbie and have heard the benefits of it so want to know if I can even do this task in Access as I use Excel for everything!

What I have is a large table which consists of (vehicle) Make, Model, Derivative, ID number, ID Code

Now I want to have a form with drop down boxes for Make, Model, and Derivative and at the bottom I want to show the ID number and ID Code from the above three searched drop down boxes.

So I select i.e Vauxhall, the next box only show Models made by Vauxhall so I then select Astra* (note needs to be like or start with) then the deritives in the next box that are only available to a Vauxhall Astra* so at the bottom I am left with the CAP ID and CAP Code for the selected vehicle.

Yes, it can be done. You will find an example here.
