This computer is is use and has been locked.

Even after disabling the screen saver and power save
options completely, I have a laptop that will always lock
after a period of time. Is there a setting somewhere to
turn off this locking feature? It locks out the laptop,
and I can get back in but I really need this laptop to not
lock.

Perhaps this is when it's coming out of standby. I can't remember if W2K
had this setting, but there is a "prompt for password when coming out of
standby" in the power options in XP. Perhaps there is an option in 2K, as
well.

Double check password protected screensaver, too.
