Third Party Cookies and Computer Performance??

I have been researching information about Internet Privacy and started
to learn of 3rd party cookies installing on the hard drive to transmit
data.

I was wondering if these cookies are affecting my computers
performance, and if so- how do I get rid of them?

Blocking Unwanted Cookies with IE 6
There are several new features built-in to IE 6, one of them is the ability
to accept and\or block any or all cookies if desired.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
