Is XFX a good make, reliable?

Anyone had any experience with them?

Is it a good buy?

Comments greatly appreciated.

Looks reasonable, it has a higher memory and core clock than
some of the AGP 7600GT,

Overall it's more similar than different compared to other
brands, a couple of areas that differ are that it doesn't
have the more squirrel-cage-like fan, which may actually be
a positive thing as those are louder due to higher RPM, and
it appears to use lower quality capacitors (but not
necessarily a problem, I dont' recognize them as any "bad"
brand and the card doesn't use a lot of power relatively
speaking).

I can't say it's a good or bad buy since I don't know the
current video card market in the UK but it should be about
as reliable as the next brand for better and worse. I mean
it probably has a short(er) lived fan like most of them do,
it may need replaced in a couple years (Or relubed before it
chews up the bearing if that's a sleeve bearing fan).

If you are thinking about replacing the cooler, do the research on cooler
replacement, before you buy the card. Some cards are hard to find a
good replacement for the cooler, and you don't want to discover that
after you've owned the card for some time.

You can see some pictures with the cooler off your 7600GT here.

The 6600GT AGP has a similar mechanical layout. This Zalman page
mentions some things to watch for.

And I can never figure out on the arcticcooling.com site, exactly
what cards are supported.
