Try turning off the 'text boundaries' display. To do this, go int
tools|Options|View and uncheck the 'text boundaries' box - under 'prin
and web layout options'.

Your picture does not make it beyond the crappy Word forums web site to the
wider world, so are we to assume that you mean marls in each corner of the
document that look like crop marks? These are set, in recent word versions,
when you have support for Asian languages available. If you need such
support you will have to put up with them, otherwise from the Windows Start
Menu > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Office Tools >
Microsoft Office Language settings you can turn off support for the
languages you don't use.

ok, i went into the options and check the text boundries, it wasn't
checked, but i checked it saved, then uncheacked it and saved and
nothing happened..... any more help?
