I cannot edit sharepoint webpages with FrontPage2003 but I can
with Word 2000.
I wanted to use Frontpage2003 though because of additional functuality.
When I have the sharepoint website page up in my browswer, I'll go up to the
top of IE and click on "Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage".
When I do that I get this error message:
There is no server on port 444 at '192.168.0.119'
You have selected the Connect Using SSL option. This connection problem may
indicate that the server does not support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
communication, or that it uses SSL communications on a different port
number.
I already tried talking the sharepoint newsgroup but nothing thier helped me
out.
Why would Word let me edit and not FrontPage?
Could someone please advise on this.
Thanks

SSL is normally applied to port 443 (not 444)
