FrontPage does not recognize and folders or files in my website. The
Properties of the webfolder show 0 files, 0 folders, 0 size. The website
works fine as far as viewing in a browser and you can publish to the site
from another site.

Can anyone offer any other suggestions??? I am still having the problem and
have no more ideas on how to resolve it.

Close FrontPage
Click Start > Run and type in: regedit
and then click OK

In the window that opens, click plus signs until you are here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Settings

Click once on Settings.

In the right hand panel, right click on the value name: FilesDetailColumns and select
Modify.
When the Edit string dialog opens, remove everything from the Value Data: text box so that
it is blank and then click OK

Then do the same for FolderDetailcolumns.

Close the Registry Editor and open FrontPage and see if it's fixed.

There is no FilesDetailsColums value in that key. The FolderDetailsColumns
is there. Should I make the change to that value? Other FP users are having
this same problem with this web too.

Yes. clear the data for the value name FolderDetailcolumns

However, if other users are having the same problem there might be more to this issue.

Run FP Cleaner and use the "Restore Default Toolbars and Menus" function.

Yes - all the users that modify this web are having the same problem, and it
is only happening on the root web. All of the subwebs open properly.

Is it a disk based web or a server based in IIS??

If disk based does the root folder display the blue globe icon??

If server based have you run an extensions check on the web itself??

Server based in IIS. We are running IIS 6.0 with FPSE 2002 installed. I have
ran the server health check, recalculated hyperlinks, added and removed the
SE and nothing has helped.

Browse to the web at C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ using Windows Explorer and right
click on one of the files that doesn't show and select properties.

By any chance have they been set as hidden files??

No, they are not checked as hidden files.
