There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request!

This problem is only showing in windows 2000 machines,
this problem occurs when we try to access a pc by name,
if you access it by ip it's accessible, we confirmed that
both Wins and DNS servers are working and we already
tried everything we found on the internet and nothing
works, Can somebody help us?
 
Well you don't tell us anyhting about your network configuration but if this
is a W2K AD domain, the W2K computers MUST point only to the W2K domain
controller as their preferred dns server. The link below explains more about
dns in a W2K domain and how to configure it for internet name
