Theo Jansen is a kinetic sculptor, who has created these "creatures" from yellow plastic tubing. He lets them roam on the beaches of his native Holland.

Wow, just imagine coming across one of those roaming around the beach! The latter ones with the wings looked incredible - they move in a very organic-like way.

I wish they built mini ones, it would be great fun to stick in a garden!

Saw these on a tv prog around a year or so ago, but yes they are amazing to look at!
