I have a problem with themes on my laptop in that I
changed the desktop theme, but every time the screensaver
comes on the theme reverts to one I had some time ago, so
I keep having to change it back. This is very annoying!
Is there anything I can do?

It sounds as if you may have some malware there. You can download
Lavasoft's Ad-aware here:

It's free and may be able to correct your problem by removing the culprit.
