Theme park classic

i just brought classic theme park and its come on a CD, theres no auto run so opened it and nothing opens except "SETUP" if u wait a fair while.
after pressin enter on "install and save to etc" but nuthin works in the folder it creates, just a black screen comes up with some writing. im on windows XP and hav no idea wot im doin and im new to these forums plz help

its the command prompt rite?

ne way when i clicked on the "setup" on the CD it said that along with
"loading data files" and after along time of loading the theme park configuration menu eventually pops up so i install etc... but then i get the command prompt again (wot the setup menu created called "THEME") and it does nothin ecept slow my computer rite down
 
Does the game case state that it's compatible with Win XP? It may not be.

Setting the game's properties within Win XP to emulate Win 98 settings may let the game run.
 
there is nothing on the case or book that came with it mentioning anything about system requirements and ive tryed changin it to 95 and 98 but it stillmakes my computer work forever
