theme not always on

From time to time when browsing my site on the net, the
theme that is applied to a page; does not appear to be on
and it goes back to the default settings. Why is that?

It's hard to say without looking at the site. Please post
the URL to this thread.

Do some pages permanently lose their formatting, or do the
plainly-formatted pages repair themselves if you click
Ctrl+Refresh in the browser?

Thanks; this happend a lot with my old site (not up) so I
just don't want to make the same mistake in applying a
theme to the one I'm working on if this is ongoing. It use
to happen on my toc page for my discussion board and it
would fix itself after a while; not sure if it is a memory
thing?
