Theme buttons show as hyperlinks not buttons

I have just changes my Theme for my webpages in FrontPage 2003 and now the
link buttons show up as hyperlinks. How do I get the buttons to show as
buttons? I have tried to change to a different theme but no help. They show
as proper buttons in preview but not buttons when uploaded and on the server.
What do I try?
 
Requires a server running the FP 2002 SE
- if that is what your host is running, open the online site in FP and apply it there

Hi. The site has FP2002 SE, I tried to open the site online, but I did not
do it right or it did not work. Still hyperlinks, what do I do now?
 
If you can't open the site online in FP using File Open Site and entering http://yoursitename.com/ have your host repair the FP SE

I worked on adding a new webpage, live on my server, the page is fine, still
not buttons howver. I changed the buttons but they stayed hyperlinks. Now
what do I do?

Right click the nav bar and check the nav bar formatting

Right clicked Link Bar properties, it says it is the correct theme, which is
"the edge" and in Design in Frontpage program it shows up as correct theme
"the edge", but on actual webpage they are all hyperlinks not buttons. I
tried a different them button set and still got hyperlinks on the actual
website.
 
Dear CJSM:

I have asked the same questions! My navigation link bar is within a Shared
Border and Microsoft's site indicates that this could be a problem, but no
fix is offered. My question is under "Dana - Provo".

So, hopefully one of us will get the correct solution!
