The X server is now disabled !!!!!!!!!--SOLVED

I have Edubuntu installed and running ok . I tried to install the latest Navida drivers to help with some graphics niggles I had . Followed some guide of the net and now when I try to start the pc I get the message .

The X server is now disabled . Restart GDM when itis configured correctly .

How do I do this ???

This Edubuntu is rather neat I must say . Only problem so far is spending too much time on Super Tux Racer and this niggly graphics problem . Tux Racer worked just fine though .

Hi urmas , problem solved by installing latest navida drivers and lots of seaching on the net . To be truthfull I can not remember what I did but everything is working just fine . If I remember right it was fairly easy to sort out but the info took a bit of finding and organising , but that is probably cos I'm still new to linux and I get sidetracked .

The Edubuntu set up works pretty much out of the box and in my opinion is a very good os for anyone with kids . I have set it up as a main os on an oldish pc and it flies along for most normal uses . I can not see any problems with dual booting and it would be a good companoin for XP on a pc .

That Tux Racer is darnn hard to master .
