I am installing a program and have just run into a situation of an
incomplete install with a hung system on reboot. System hung on reboot
while displaying the splash screen and "Starting Windows". Got past it
by restarting in safe mode, fiddling and resetting 'x number of unknown
parameters' in control panel?????
Now when I attempted the install again ( 2- floppies, One with the
SETUP.EXE and the other SETUP.W02, presumably the program file). On the
prompt for the second disk, I insert the disk and get a dialog box
labeled ==>
csrss.exe - Wrong Volume and w/ contents ==>
"The wrong volume is in the drive. please insert volume into drive."
and I can't get out of it or close it down
Is this a SYS issue?
(BTW the inserted disk is the right disk, and this csrss is in the WINNT
folder and should not be a virus)
Thanks
