Thus far, there are two books on Windows XPE.

They are:
Windows XP Embedded Step by Step
Windows XP Embedded Advanced

Have any of you used either of these? If so, are they worth buying?

Thanks

I am an absolute beginner at this, and borrowed "Windows XP Embedded
Advanced" from a guy down the hall and found it helpful. It seems well
written, and was clear enough to follow without a lot of background
experience.

My main concern and question about Windows XP Embedded Advanced book is does
it go beyond the basics and cover advanced topics such as building device
drivers for display adapters or other more complicated things? Most of the
basic stuff can be found online in the MSDN help files and tips, etc., so
I'd rather not waste money getting the book unless it has things that are
not online.

If you could do me a favor and tell me the list of topics in the table of
contents, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
