I installed the software and tried to run the program
and a pop up appear saying your software has expired on
the 31.7.05 pls contact Microsoft...How can it expired
when it is not the due date? Pls advise. Thanks
.
I had the same problem as you, and for the same reason:
non-standard date format. I was using yyyy-MM-dd, ddd
so expiration was 2005-07-dd (Monday),
or something like that.
When I dropped the suffix (ddd) then the install was ok.
I like to see day of week in my file dates,
so I'll probably revert to the yyyy-MM-dd (ddd) format...
tomorrow, and see if everything
still works ok.
MicroSoft should allow yyyy-MM-dd (ddd) date format;
they allow you to use that convenient format, but then
this little bug crops up with their operating system &
their beta. BUG.
