A friend of mine and I created a web site, using FP2000.
We established a division of labor such that he would
have responsibility for updating certain pages, I others.
When one of us makes a change, that change is not
mirrored on the other's hard drive unless he
copies/publishes the change from the server back to the
web directory on his hard drive. If he (or I) neglects to
do that and publishes a subsequent change, the server
presumably "thinks" that the change previously made
should be overwritten/deleted even if only changed pages
are being published.
Is there any way that two webmasters can collaborate in
this manner without one having to "back-publish" the
entire contents of the website every time the other makes
a change?
