I have just started using Outlook and imported data from Outlook Express. Address file there but when I type in first letter of a name in the to box it doesn't try and auto predict the contact I want. Can't find an answer anywhere...help please!

You failed to mention your Outlook version. Only later versions have an
autocomplete feature and it operates off a cache from messages you've
already sent, not the address book.

Thanks, for this...guess will just have to send a lot of e-mails and wait! Version is Outlook 2000.

You'll be waiting a long time, then. Outlook 2000 is not one of the later
versions. Autocomplete wasn't implemented until Outlook 2002.
