The System Has Recovered From A Serious Error

My laptop regularly shuts itself down, restarts and then shows a messag
saying there was a serios error, something to do with FAT32 - it the
goes on to check the files for consistency and finds no problems - i
there are no problems then why does my laptop keep shutting down? Ho
do I stop it from doing that
