Hi,

I have this msg when I try to log in into a win2k server box:
The system can't let you log in because the domain ORGA is unusable
(Traduction from:
系統目å‰ç„¡æ³•è®“您登入,因為網域ORGA無法使用)

It has been working 3 years without any problem, and now, out of the
blue, I can not log in anymore.

Could some help me ?
Thank you for any pointer,
Mickael

Could it be more like "The system can't let you log in because the domain
ORGA is unavailable"?

That usually happens when name resolution fails (or the DC is offline, hung,
or hs some other sort of problem). Check DNS, WINS.

or when the network cable is unplugged...

ORGA is a single-label DNS name, is the actual DNS domain name ORGA?
Did you recently install service Pack 4 if that is the AD DNS domain name?

If the DNS domain name is a single-label DNS name Win2k SP4 and later NT
based OS's require registry fixes in this KB article:
300684 - Information About Configuring Windows 2000 for Domains with
Single-Label DNS Names
