I am getting the exact same symptoms as outlined in
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 818379 but we are not
running exchange. When a colleague sends an invitation
to an appointment It shows up on my machine 1 hour later
than it should be. I have made sure we are set to the
same time zone.

Any ideas? Thanks

Did you check not only in Windows but in Outlook as well? Go to Tools,
Options, Calendar Options, Time Zones and make sure you're set to
automatically adjust for daylight savings time.

I also experienced the same problem. Setting the Daylight Savings Time to Yes in Outlook takes care of future problems, but it did not fix the numerous reoccuring appoints that were sent during that problem period. The reoccuring appt said "Occurs every 1 month at 10:00 Central Time" but the individual appoints would display 11:00 in the calander. This problem also had the nasty habit of setting my Pocket PC one hour ahead on a daily basis. The only solution I found was to completely remove all of the (corrupt?) reoccuring appointments and resending them a second time.

That was it. Both computers were on the same time zone
but only one of them was set to automatically update.

Thanks
