Hi,
I just want to know where is the file that shuts down the computer,
so that i can put in in the Scheduled Tasks,
as i want to make the copmuter shut down after a previously-specified period
of time.
If anyone could help.
Thank You.

Using Task Scheduler, create a task (repeating daily, at your desired time)
for the following:

SHUTDOWN -s -t 01

More information can be read here:

Can also be used just to shutdown...

Using Task Scheduler to schedule the computer to shut down and restart at a
specific time

Shutdown Help

Type: shutdown /? in a command prompt.

Paste the following line into Start | Run and click OK..

But cannot shutdown "after a specified time period"?? Except of course
change the parameter -t to XXXX seconds, and have it run at STARTUP , but it
will shutdown even in the middle of anything, not saving....
