The Show Must Go On.... Wrong

My powerpoint presentation works flawlessly, but when I
convert it to a show, it plays with glitches. Timings
that work fine in the presentation don't happen in the
show. The same with some entrances and exits of animation
and words. I am stymied, and would appreciate some help.

When you say "show" I'm assuming you mean that you saved it to a .PPS file.
There is no difference in the file format or the content between .PPT so
we'll have to look elsewhere for the problem. What is different? Do you
have other programs running? Are you running it on the same system? Is it
running from a CD rather than hard drive? Any or all of these could explain
the difference.
 
Hi we have a very similiar problem, had apresentation
worknig on one pc, we did a pack and go and put it on
another machine. now when we run the slideshow.. the
animations/songs do not match up and are out of sync many
times.. other times it works perfect.. any ideas?

Even in the latest version of PowerPoint (2003), other than synchronizing
the beginning of one thing with the beginning of another thing on the same
slide, there is no other kind of synchronization in PowerPoint. The feature
for this degree of timing control is just not built into the product.

So, for example, if you want to sychronize animations , transitions and
other events across multiple slides with some kind of background sound, you
will get inconsistent results from system to system.
