I have one computer, which is used as the server, but in
fact it is a working station with Windows 2000 operating
system and shared access to documents on.
Computer is over a year old, but unitl recently I didn't
discover any unconvenience at its work.
For a while I have been noticed that during other network
operators are connected with files placed on "server",
server freezes, making the work impossible. I checked if
it is not overloaded with documents and software installed
on. But actually there is used only 1/4 of free space.
That "freezing" happens even when nobody is working on
(for instance during a weekend).
I wonder what can be cause of such situation. There is no
error file detected, and no overloading. That has never
happened before until 2 months ago. Nothing has been
installed on, and uninstalled.
Please if you have any idea what could cause such
situation, or how to check for the reason and/or how to
fix the problem please help.
Thank you in advance,
Jadzia
