The screen saver does not work !!!

In my PC (XP Home SP3), works only the screensavers of default (those which
we find installed, with to the O.S...... in order meaning to us.). All those
which I install, and I say just all, I have tried because them, when I try
to enable them: Property - Screen > Screensaver, not they work! I have
setting 1/2 minutes, then Apply > OK, but does not happen just null? The
thing still stranger, is that, clicking on push-button " Try", it works all
to the perfection, but after It applies > OK, passed by far the wait time,
does not happen just null! How I can resolve the problem? Thanks in
advance!!!

Hi!!!!
The people who created the screensavers are Microsoft Corporation the
screensaver is: 3DwindowsXP
 
Have you rebooted after changing screensaver?

The #D screensavers usually require correctly working 3D video card
graphics drivers that offer full DirectX support. If you did not
install the correct drivers from your PC / video card maker, you might
not get these to work.
