Gord was referring to the 'Save in' dropdown box.
When you go to File>Save As it brings up a dialog
box where you can specify which directory to Save In,
amongst other things.
That Dialog box and all the info in it is supplied by
windows or whatever your operating System is.
If it's not on that list you want to check in
Windows Explorer to see if your G:drive
is mapped properly.
