Does anyone else have this problem or any more suggestions on how to resolve
it?
Hi, Everybody,
I encountered same issue, but no solution so far, if somebody who
get to fix the problem please CC to me, thanks in advance.
however did not resolve the problem.
This is a work laptop, which runs perfectly, never blue screens, no problems
with anything else, so I doubt my IT department will perform a re-install.
I worked my way through
http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/RemoteDesktop/RemoteDesktopSetupandTroubleshooting.html
many of things I had already tried, others I tried, without resolving the
issue.
Terminal Services are running, the port is listening, I don't have a router
to complicate issues, the firewall is ticked to allow RDC traffic, and the
port is not blocked.
I have seen other people with this issue, but never seen a resolution to the
problem.
Any further ideas?

I tried the regsvr32 remotepg.dll command, which completed successfully,I have exactly the same issue here and have tried everything mentioned in
this topic. I don't want to go back to XP SP1 though. Is there really no
solution to this problem? Any suggestions?
