I have been hearung all over the nes that for the users
of Windows XP, there is a new virous out and it will not
allow theWindowXP to operate. I am having problems
opening my Windows word processor at times. I want to
protect my computer from this vrous. How can I do it? I
am very new to computers and don't understand all of
that computer lingo, so please make it simple. Please
answer this request very soon bec ause I need my computer
for school.

Don't take Nicholas' answer as the only one, there are other, equally
valid programs available, both for free and for purchase. Do a Google or
other internet query, scan this and other usergroups, you'll find lots
of information and both biased and unbiased opinions.
