It has been a very frustrating weeks experience with Vista Business (32)!
After connecting to the network we begun having problem connecting to the
networked printers (windows 2003 server) We have tried everything found in
all the blogs and forum to be able to connect:
i.e. install a printer assuming that it is local and then try to connect to
the network
install from the network
install with the wizard
All had resulted into memory errors, module crashing with the spooler as the
module
to the spooler stopping to now the port not being available at all.
Please help

i have XP's and Vista computers attached to the network! Would updating the
driver to this version affect the P clients?

If you have any HP Laserjet models make sure you have version 16 or greater
of HPBMINI.DLL installed on the print server. It's in
\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3

Yes the XP client will get the updated file. Basically HP checks the OS
version, unfortunately the older versions of this file crash when the OS
version is 6 (this also happened when Server 2003 came out and they crashed
on 5.2). Since this driver is loaded by the spooler process the failure
also terminates the spooler.
