The Photos You Have Been Waiting For!

I think they stop hotlinking, as if I type them in manually they work fine. It might be worth posting the link to your gallery instead?

The link to my gallery is in my signature - thought it would be easier to just post them in here. Oh well

edit: have traded images for links :)

Some very nice photos there Chris, I especially like the holy ruins one! The milk one is pretty cool too :)

oh, and the links do not all work ... you are "stealing" bandwidth. ;)

I viewed the pics using the link in your sig ... it works fine.

Ah yes, direct linking will be restricted too - the main link is the way to go :)

I just made this and i am really happy with it:

Hmmm, interesting ... creative experiment?

I like. :thumb:

Yeah i wanted to bring out the colours in the usually ignored unimportant object in the foreground, so i desaturated the grass in the bacground and also in front. i think it worked quite well. On my DA now :)

Chris,

You are doing great keep it up!

The picture above "dametalyl7" could look just right if depth of field is increased. The aperture used just dose not do justice to the image. You need to use Aperture Priority mode to get it right instead of fully Auto as you did while taking the image. You used F4.5 but this kind of image to look great from foreground to bacground will need smallest aperture you can mage depending on the availability of light i.e. F16 or higher number

I want one of those cameras :)

Same here, but then I looked at the price

Do keep posting your experiments on the site Chris, as I enjoy looking at them!

Some good pics there Chris.......your getting more creative....keep it up mate...:thumb:

I need to learn about aperture.

Going out for a hike round the army shooting ranges tomorrow with Lisa, the girl on DA with the most amazing eyes.

I have ventured from fully auto to the sports mode... and also M for long exposure shots.

How would the image appear better with the manual settings?

And

Thanks for your great comments guys

Keep checking my DA regulary as im sure there are lots more to come!

My favourites are always night shots with the shutter held wide open for at least a minute....you get some fantastic images especially from bridges over town centres.....Amazing....Give it a go Chris you will not be dissapointed....;)
