My computer is a 2.6GHz Intel with 1GB of RAM, the hard drive is 75% free,
and it has windows XP professional. My pc worked very fast and proficient.
Now the issue is I didn’t have the physical space, so I made some external
devices (they work great) but I had the wonderful idea of turning of the pc
and plugging all the devices, in each USB port, at the same time. So now
every time I plug and unplug, put in and out a CD or DVD ROM it takes 5 to 6
minutes to load it and 5 to 6 minutes to unload it the device or data.
I know that the issue is because I plug all the devices at the same time,
while the pc was off. So know every time I load and unload each CD, DVD, and
external device, the pc scan for every single device even if there aren’t
any. How could I reverse this with out reinstalling the Windows, or taking
the pc to the “previous stage
