The page cannot be displayed

Lately when I go to some pages on IE6 such as excite.com
and click to go to a news story or anything else it goes
to th page and I can see the story or page but an error
comes up saing it can not open it evn though its already
there. all I can do is click ok then "The page cannot be
displayed" appears on the page along with the other info
as if the page is missing. Anyone having this problem or
know how I can fix it? Thanks
