I am building my own website and have had problems with
my HTML Editor, these problems seem to have been solved
so I published my website. Once I had done so I tested
the pages which seemed to be working perfectly OK except
for the pages with forms. When you press the submit
button it is suppose to go to my email address. When you
do press submit I get the message above, although the
form does get transmitted to my inbox. I am desperate can
anyone help please. I am a novice at this so I would
appreciate plain English.

Thank you

Georgina Lee

Hi Georgina Lee,

I guess you build the website with a tool that required something on
the server that is not supported on yours. For instance: you created
the site (and the form) in Frontpage, but if you hosting company
doesn't support Frontpage extensions, you can't have it work that way.

If that's the case, you'll need PHP (if supported by the hoster) or a
remotely hosted CGI. This latest solution doesn't require anything -
see www.hlrnet.com/intcgi.htm for some references.

Kind regards
