The page cannot be desplayed

Help
I am getting a message when I try to look at web sites
that says (The page cannot be displayed, Cannot find
server or DNS error)
When I click on (Dectect Network Settings)I can then get
the page most of the time but it's driving me up the
wall, any advice would be appreciated.
