We are using primarily Outlook 2003 with Exchange server 2003 but we still
have some clients on OL2002 and a few stragglers on OL2000.
Here's the scenario:
Outlook 2003 Customer has a recurring meeting. They make a change to the
meeting such as a simple time change or add an attendee. They click Send
Update and get the following error: "The operation cannot be performed
because the message has been changed."
The bad thing that happens is that in the background the change goes out to
all the attendees. However the person making the change thinks it hasn't gone
and so they try again get the same error and the update goes out again. The
change is reflected in the update that the attendess receive but the change
is not reflected in the originator's calendar.
I have been able to reproduce this problem in test accounts but it does not
happen every time.
Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
