I'm probably the only one who didn't know about this already

TheOpenCD is a collection of high quality Free and Open Source
Software. The programs run in Windows and cover the most common
tasks such as word processing, presentations, e-mail, web
browsing, web design, and image manipulation. We include only
the highest quality programs, which have been carefully tested
for stability and which we consider appropriate for a wide
audience.


The programs on the CD
OpenOffice.org, AbiWord, GIMP, Mozilla, FileZilla, TightVNC,
WinHTTrack, PuTTY, Audacity, CDex, Crack Attack!, Sokoban YASC,
Celestia, Really Slick Screensavers, 7-Zip, SciTE, WinPT, NetTime

There is another CD, with very much the same opensource software, being
sold by several outfits for as low as $.99 US plus about $1.50 shipping.
It's the "GNUwin II v. 2.2" CD, which is easily located with Google. Good
proggys and no downloading but it's not "priceless." juzme

Not quite true. You can download every program on the CD, but only one
at a time:

http://gnuwin.epfl.ch/apps/en/bestlist.html

Click on any of the program links on that page and you'll be taken to
a page with a download link for that specific program.

By the way, the current version is 2.3.
