New Imaging software on XP does not seem to be as flexible as the old Imaging
on Windows 98 and Windows 2000.

Cannot select portions of an image and move them.

Any hints?

Hello Paul,

Are you talking about the imaging software that opens when you double-click
an image file? If so, that is the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and it is
designed just as a lightweight viewer, not an editor. If you want to edit
your pictures, try MS Paint. You can open it by right-clicking your
picture, choose Open With, then choose Paint from the list.

Thanks,
