Why or how do i find out whats causeing the ie 6 or 7 ( ive d/l both ) and i
get the same warning to pop up

does ie 7 over ride ie 6 when installing or do i need to uninstall both
version and start new

btw only way i can get on line is via the help section and clicking web
based links then now warning/error ,essage pops up

We have no idea what warning you are asking about.

You cannot have both OE6 and IE7 on the same Windows installation.
 
Upgrading in hopes of fixing an existing problem is seldom a good idea, GM.
