John

hello. i am wondering if it is possible somehow to change the order that the
my pictures slideshow screensaver displays pictures. by default it seems to
display them in some kind of random order. i would really like to change
that. sometimes the order repeats a photo thats already been shown. this is
slightly annoying if i have a hundred photos or something. i know that on the
settings page for this screensaver, there isnt a place to specify display
order. isnt there some way to specify order, like even a registry entry?

i would like to have them ordered either by filename, or date created.

thank you

This free one has random or sequential displays.

hello elmo,

thanks for telling me about the alternate screensaver, but i was not posting
in the newsgroup asking for a replacement, or where online i could find
something better. i was asking specifically about the photos screen saver
that comes with windows xp. can you answer my questions, or no?

thanks

After such a gracious reply I predict you will get lots of help.
