The "my Computer" Window loads up at start-up

hi
the "my computer" window (with the info of the drives on the pc ect) keeps
loading up every time i start the computer and logon. I've checked in the
startup folder in the start menu and in sceduled taskss and its not in there
so i can't understand why it loads up. How can i stop this? Im running xp
home and im not on a network

The startup folder is a minor part of Startup.

Check in Msconfig for any oddities.
(Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab)
If you cannot see anything in Msconfig then:

Start-Run-msinfo32
Click the + beside Software Environment to expand.
Click Startup Programs
Ctrl+A to Select All, Ctrl+C to Copy.
Paste that information in your message.

No, they do not open windows.
Please either supply the information so someone may pick which program
has poor syntax or troubleshoot with Msconfig.

That has come out a bit jumbled and I find it hard to follow and
perhaps I should have suggested you double space the text.

Does anything look odd when you see it on the screen?
e.g. does this show as a blank in the command column?
(I see no command)
