It is clear that m$ has become a minority player in the OS world.

Their market continues to shrink.

The EU, China, Brazil, U.S. and others rejected them.

They have become a cult unto their own.

..net is a winner -- for sure, but it will soon be absorbed into the linux
paradigm.

I agree 100%

The main reason I might stop using Windows XP is that I can never get any help with it because nobody else seems to be using it. "Micro-who?", they say. I say, "Microsoft. Ring any bells?" A blank stare is all I get in return. Sometimes someone will get a twinkle in their eyes, like it rings a bell, but they can't quite place the name. Oh, well. I guess that's one of the downsides of going with the little guy

I think I'm going to shut off my Dell computer, get into my Ford F150 and drive down to my local Starbucks (the one on Main St., not the one over on Grand Ave. Oh, wait! Doesn't the new Target have a Starbucks?!?) to hang out with all the other counter-culture types

Man, I'm such a rebel.
