Why does Microsoft seem to do trivial stupid things that can only
inspire customer hatred?

Why do they release products with so many bugs that ten years later
when they announce the end of support for the product they are still
releasing __monthly__ security and bug fixes?

Why do they remove features from products that are obviously needed by
users?

Why do they add features to products that will obviously be hated by
users?

Why are the new features that are most likely to be hated turned on by
default or made unavoidable?

Why do they change features in products so that users can't find what
they are looking for?

Why do products have a Help feature that generates only totally
worthless help?

Because they can and you can not is also why there are, fundamentally,
nations. A sovereign occurs when unique flaws are formed for a united
front of syncopated noise from the malcontented quagmire of quibbles
produced by humanity. A temporary imposition, although but do you
honestly think the ambiance at Uranus moreover suitable?

Micro$oft is serving big corporate customers, not the general public!
All these changes were requested by the big corps.

My Linux box pushes a lot more updates than XP.

None of the above is Windows-specific. Apple's arrogance in breaking
so many thing with every major MacOSX update is incomparable. And
every large software house does stupid things. Heck, even Mozilla
managed to almost totally **** up Firefox.

I used to hate Windows. Now that I work also on Linux and Mac,
I am finding that Microsoft is least troublesome (although I still
don't use any of their software beyond OS and Office).
