Hi,

Go to the follwoing link.

http://www.upliftindia.org/default.aspx?RootFolder=/Shared Documents/Projects&langue=us

Refresh the page. You will get the folllowing Error:

ieexplore.exe - Application Error:

The instruction at "0x5a5c1e27" referenced memory at "0x00000003". The
memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

If you will not get the above error. Refresh again and again. Then you
will get the above error.

But when you browse the same page in Netscape Navigator. Its not giving
the error.

My question is why it saying -- The memory could not be "read" in IE
only. I think its not a problem with Operating system (OR) Memory.
Because its perfect in Netscape Navigator.

If anybody knows the solution, Please let me know to solve it.

Thanks and Regards,
Vinoth

This usually indicates a malware infection.

It might be a poorly written web application in ASP.NET :) The site takes so
looong to download. Seems to me more like a school project web application
where the author didnt' quite get that script right :)
Anyway I'm not getting the error you mentioned, though I'm using IE 7... I
would say it's definitely not related to your OS

Is your IE completely up-to-date. I've tried to replicate the problem, but
my IE on the third refresh just shows a blank page with a script error icon
in the status bar indicating that there is a regular expression error in the
script in the page. It's possible that if your IE isn't completely
up-to-date that the script error is causing the crash.
