Well for me it's the Wisden Cricketers Almanack 2011 for £35 at Waterstones this morning.:thumb:

What is this "book" you speak of?

Brick Lane by Monica Ali. From the charity shop, used paperback cost me 95p, almost finished reading it right now.

After that Devices and Desires by P D James, which also cost 95p.

I've bought several:

"The Tent, The Bucket and Me" - by Emma Kennedy (a really funny read.)

"At My Mother's Knee and Other Low Joints" - and - "The Devil Rides Out" - by Paul O'Grady(they were both thoroughly entertaining, the man has led an interesting life and, he doesn't dwell on boring "celeb" stuff, like a lot of celebs tend to do.)

"But Can You Drink the Water?" - by Jan Hurst-Nicholson

"In My Wildest Dreams" - by Leslie Thomas

And the prize for the longest title I've purchased, goes to: "Bears in the Yard, Foxes in the House: My Twelve Year Honeymoon in Alaska's Wilderness" - by Jerry Olson
:D

Albert Einstein by Banesh Hoffmann. The story of Einstein's life.

£1 in a second hand book shop. :)

Judas Unchained by Peter.F.Hamilton 1235 pages and the final book in the trilogy.
20p from the charity cafe at Wrigtington Hospital.
It has taken me 9 months to read it as I only read when waiting for patients.

:D

I read:

When eating
Sometimes when I go to bed
Waiting for stuff, like dentist, doctor, probation officer etc
Very occasionally outside on the patio in the sun
Sitting on the karzi

I like a bit of poetry and found this one in a second hand book shop"The Nation's Favourite Poems" with a forward by Griff Rhys Jones only cost me 20p. Bargain:thumb:

Just bought three books and they are;
"The mystery of the yellow room" By Gaston Leroux.A murder mystery.
"The casefiles of Mr J.G.Reeder" By Edgar Wallace.Crime.
And finally:
"The History and Conquests of Ancient Rome" History.
At the moment I`m reading "The casefiles of Mr J.G.Reeder" Which I`m finding quite good, I do like Edgar Wallace stories.

Isn`t that book about balls, three upright sticks and two small ones that go across the top of the three upright ones---strange reading matter.

Agree with FBS, a bit heavy on the knees. BUt you would also be flipping through the GBOR to see if there are any khazi records you could break. Could make for an interesting time on the khazi :D
