The Keyboard never prints ASCII characters <127

Hello

I have a problem with a laptop ... its keyboard never prints ASCI
characters < 127. For example, when you press A you obtain A
ligature on the screen; E = Euro symbol; Q = @; 1 = |; 2 =@; etc. I
seems like the AltGr key was always pressed ... I tried with a
external USB keyboard with the same results. I tried to replac
windows and installing a Linux Box ... no way

Any idea will be appreciated. Thanks a lot

Sounds like you've activated a 'magic' key somewhere that turned on Alt-lock.
