The irony of the Windows Vista delay and its release

I just went to BestBuy to purchase Windows Vista Ultimate Full Retail
(confusing enough?) and was pleased to find out that none of their stores in
Canada have that in stock. It may arrive on Wednesday, February 1st. Keyword
may!

I have been waiting a long time for this and they can't even get their
shipments right after all the trials and errors. It really leaves a bad taste
in my mouth. Keep in mind I chose BestBuy because they were offering a free
lifecam with it.

Now I'm flexible, so I checked other stores to see if it was in stock and
surprise, surprise; none did.

I would just like to thank Microsoft for disappointing me as I was looking
forward to upgrading, but I guess that'll have to wait.

What's your hurry?

Just like any other Male, they want their toys NOW. They don't want to
wait. I agree, it's disappointing.

Does the concept of a "spoiled brat" mean anything to you?

And you get so upset when someone insults you! You just called Barry
McWilliams a spoiled brat.

I guess you are too immature to take that which you like to dish out.

He was being a spoiled brat. I merely pointed it out. If the truth
hurts, that isn't my fault.
I guess you are too immature to take that which you like to dish out.

My insults are few and far between. You, OTOH, can't seem to post
without one.

Can you access the download at Windows Marketplace? It might take a few
hours to download but at least you would have it today. No lifecam though.

your broke and cant afford the new OS or the hardware to run it, so you
blame MS for having the NERVE to make something that wont run on your
pentium II

LOL, loser

This isn't necessarily an MS thing. Gamers have to deal with this all the
time.. It always takes an extra day or two for product released in the
States to get released up here.

I have two computers that could run Aero without doing any hardware
upgrades. The OEM price is fine, affordable and well within my budget.
That doesn't mean I will be imprudent like the OP and buy it straight
out of the gate. I will wait for SP2 and probably only buy one copy for
gaming and other media orientated activities.

I've never owned a pentium II. I skipped that one and went right for the
III.
